I really should be studying.
Considering the fact that I have like 3 days to study for my tests.
But I just can't study....-_-
I know I'm going to regret not studying right now come next Monday.
Haih.

April 22, 2008
My exam timetable came out yesterday.
Blargh.
Exam sucks. I have papers on the 5th, 10th, 11th and 23rd of June.
And the worst thing is, the two units that I really suck at (and I mean, really stink at) are like back-to-back, on the 10th and 11th of June.
Dah la next week I got test for BOTH the units. On Monday and Wednesday.
Rawr.
I'm damn stressed. And exam's still like 6 weeks away.
And to add to that, I have to resubmit my assignment for my Stats unit cause got some things that I have to modified. Haih. Sedihnya. But I realised the only reason our lecturer's asking us to resubmit is so that we can get more marks for the assignment and help us with the unit overall. Can't be too bitter about that.
I know I'm going to spend my time studying in Monash on Friday and Saturday. Oh shit. Maybe not on saturday cause there's going to be a street carnival in Monash.
But I really need to find a place to study. I can't study at home. I'm getting distracted (like how I'm blogging right now!).
Oh, by the way, in the car I heard the song Sunny Came Home by Shawn Colvin on Mix FM.
Sunny came home to her favorite room
Sunny sat down in the kitchen
She opened a book and a box of tools
Sunny came home with a mission
She says days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire
Sunny came home with a list of names
She didn't believe in transcendence
It's time for a few small repairs she said
Sunny came home with a vengeance
She says days go by I dont know why
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire
Get the kids and bring a sweater
Dry is good and wind is better
Count the years, you always knew it
Strike a match, go on and do it
Days go by I'm hypnotized
I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
Into the fire
Oh, light the sky and hold on tight
The world is burning down
She's out there on her own and she's alright
Sunny came home
Sunny came home
This song brought back memories because I remembered in standard 6, our class had to do an aerobic thing to this song and even though we screwed it up, we had so much fun doing it.
Ingat tak, Zaty? That was like 9 years ago!
Oh My God.

Cupcakes, a fever and a movie
May Lee gave me these cupcakes today! Aren't they the cutest???
They're yummyyyyyyyyyyyy! Thanks a bunch, May Lee! *grins widely*
Dah la I was still craving for cupcakes since the other day.
I actually planned to drop by at Cuppacakes on my way to Monash yesterday to get some cupcakes.
But that didn't happen because I got sick on Thursday.
And I spent the whole of Thursday and yesterday in bed because I was sniffling and coughing and my temperature was spiking up.
But luckily it wasn't as bad like when I got sick last December.
My voice is still a bit weird though today. Haha. Very nasally.
And so I have not studied for the past three days because of my fever.
Shit. I'm worried, but I just can't study. -_-'
Oh, I watched Ever After a few days ago on HBO. Anis and I squealed when we found out it was on because it's been AGESSSSSSSSSSS since we've watched it.
And I can't believe how I didn't notice Drew Barrymore's fake British accent when I was younger. Listening to her speaking was the one thing that made me cringe the entire movie because I don't think she can pull the accent off.Oh, and there were these lines that Prince Henry says in the movie that really made me think.
Prince Henry: Do you really think there is only one perfect mate?
Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I do.
Prince Henry: Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, I mean really the one for you, or do you only think they are, then what happens if the person you're supposed to be with never appears, or she does but you're too distracted to notice?
Leonardo da Vinci: You learn to pay attention.
Prince Henry: And let's say... God puts 2 people on earth and they are lucky enough to find one another, but one of them gets hit by lightening, well then what, is that it? Or perchance you meet someone new and marry all over again, is that the lady you're supposed to be with, or was it the first? And if so, when the 2 of them are walking side by side, were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first, or was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything chance? Or are some things meant to be?
Leonardo da Vinci: You cannot leave everything to fate boy. She's got a lot to do, sometimes you must give her a hand.
What Prince Henry said kinda makes you think, doesn't it? It makes you wonder about your soulmate...and as much as I want to believe that there is one guy out there for me, I still think that I would end up being a spinster with 69 cats (like what I told Ine). Hahaha.
I'm going to sleep soon. Still haven't fully recovered from the fever. :(

SPAIN'S PREGNANT DEFENSE MINISTER
I think this story is really interesting. A pregnant woman as the Defense Minister.
Wonder if there'll ever be a day when Malaysian's Defence Minister is a pregnant woman.
Hmmmm.
Nope. Don't think it'll ever happen.
I think I'm getting sick. I got the sniffles already. =(
And my lecturer told me that for my AFW2020 unit, exam's going to be in the 1st week of exams. Which does not leave me with much time to study.
I have two tests coming in less than 2 weeks, and they're important because one's like 10% of the overall marks and the other one's like 20% of my total marks.
And I've barely started studying for that.
Oh, I also have a few more assignments due throughout May.
Which means that I have less and less study time available.
Darnit.
And I am soooo not in the mood to study tonight.
This semester is so bloody stressing. :-S
PS: The Celine Dion concert was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh My God, I think I screamed my lungs out that night!
So worth it. *sigh*

Updates Version 2
Update 19/4/08: The piccies are up!
After writing the first post right, i totally forgot that I haven't written anything what i did on my birthday, haha.
So anyways, I didn't go out with anyone on Friday because my friends were all unavailable and my parents were busy. I was a bit sad la, so Anis and I went to this place on Great Eastern Mall called Mumbo Jumbo because I was really curious and I've wanted to try their jacket potato since last year. What better day to go then on your birthday, right?
The food there wasn't that bad. I liked it. And Anis bought me a slice of cake from Strudels. can't remember what it was, but it was delicious!
So anyways, on Saturday, my dad said that we could go and hang out in the room that he got at the Mandarin Oriental. He got the room because he was organizing a conference at the KL Convention Center (which explained why he was busy the night before), so we spent the whole day lazying around in the room.
For dinner, we had my belated birthday celebration at the hotel's bistro. Found out that the buffet costs Rm73++ per person. And there were 8 of us, okay? I seriously felt guilty about that. But the food was quite good.
Since my dad only got one room, obviously not all of us got to stay the night. So Anis, Zara and I ended up staying while the others all went back. Didn't do much, just slept that night because I got really depressed when I found out Arsenal drew with Liverpool in their EPL match (and lost 4-2 to Liverpool in their Champions League Match on wednesday, which made me even more depressed), and I was really tired, so I just slept. Haha. Will upload piccies of the room soon. Pictures are up! scroll over the pics for descriptions!
And on Monday, I got a parcel from Ine from Australia! she got me Britney Spears' Fantasy Make-Up Kit and a necklace and a pair of earrings. I was so happy!
Gift from Ine! ^____^
Oh, and my siblings got me this plush toy that is super cute, and it has $$ signs in its eyes and it was drooling. Apparently, that's supposed to be me. Oh well. I can't help it. I like money!
Oh, and I'm also going to the Celine Dion concert tomorrow!
I AM VERY, VERY, VERY EXCITED! *bounces*
I have liked Celine Dion since like EVER. My parents fault la. They used to pasang Celine Dion's cassettes inside the car. (Cassettes okay, not CDs!)
I've been waiting to see Celine Dion for 13 years! And I'm going tomorrow!!!!
It's going to be like a major karaoke session. I can't wait!
PS: And yes, it DOES depress me that I am no longer a teen. But it gives me a certain satisfaction, too, to say that I am twenty when people ask for my age. Hahaha.

Updates, updates!
Alritey.
Now, where was I?
Oh yeah, I'm sorry I haven't been updating!!!
I had a bit of a problem understanding my assignments.
Surprisingly right, I had a problem when I was doing my Stats assignment instead of Accounting. And Stats is supposed to be my forte.
I just figured out how to do the Stats assignment THE DAY BEFORE IT WAS DUE! And it was so simple that I can't believe I only figured out it then. I could've finished it off like last week had I figured out how to do it sooner. Pressure does strange things to the mind.
And I can't believe how people are asking me how to do the accounts assignment question. I mean, my Accounts wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good. But since most of the really good students flew off to Australia, I guess I'm their next best thing la. Luckily I could understand everything.
It's so satisfying to actually understand what you are doing. Especially for assignments.
So yesterday I had to send both assignments in. And when I sent it in, I was so relieved because don't have to think about it anymore.
Oh, anyways, my dad took anis and I to the PC fair at the Convention Center yesterday.
I saw the MacBook Air! It's shooo pwetty!!!!!!! Me likey.
BUT, that's not the best part. My dad was looking at these HP tablets right. And then there was this one that definitely caught his eye, which was this one:
The original price was RM 3999, but at the PC fair it was RM2799 plus Rm 100 to upgrade to 4GB RAM and RM200 for an extended 2 years warranty because they only had a one-year warranty.
So my dad was asking, "Do you want it?"
I was contemplating because I liked it, but I didn't want to ask my dad to buy it for me because although the laptop at home has gone a bit cuckoo, it was still usable la. And I feel so guilty to ask him to buy that for me. So I just shrugged.
But I got the shock of my life when he ended up buying THREE of the laptops!
One for him, one for me and one for Anis.
Oh yeah.
So now I have a new laptop, and i just saw my dad spent more money than i think i will ever have in my bank, unless i don't use the allowance that i get every month.
Which is not going to happen.
And so, I will guard this laptop with my life. I'm so using it until i work and can afford to buy a new one. (Translation = until i graduate)
And I got to buy the inks for my printer for RM87. Usually buying the black and colour inks usually cost about RM100 to RM 110 so i was so happy when we got to buy it for less.
Life couldn't be better. Hahaha.
Oh, and I went to eat at wendy's in pyramid after class last Thursday. There were soooo many people there. I had high expectations for Wendy's cause they're supposed to have really yummy burgers, but I was kinda disappointed. Anis and I kept on comparing Wendy's to Carls Jr and we feel like Carls Jr's much better. But I liked their jacket potatoes. Yummy. Anis and I tried the one with chili and cheese, and it was good. But their burgers taste similar to the ones in Burger King. I complained to Nat la that night, and she was like, "Maybe your expectations was TOO high" and I was like, erm, yeah la, maybe I was expecting a little too much.
Oh well. I tend to get really excited a lot of times and I do get my hopes up.
hahaha.
OK, i think that's all I gotta say. I'm quite blur la right now.

My weekend
I went for a trip to Sungai Sendat last Sunday.
Still can't get over the name. Sungai SENDAT....*snicker*
For those who are interested in knowing, Sungai Sendat is near Ulu Yam. Well, not that near, because it's further up. I think it's like a 40 minutes drive to get there from my house.
The thing is right, the road to go to Sungai Sendat is like ridiculous, and a bit not suitable for non-4WD cars, so my dad insisted on taking the Range Rover and Pajero, so of course I ended up driving the Pajero.

Look at the tyres....quite bad right? :S
But all in all, it was fun! I hadn't mandi sungai in like ages. And it was sooo pretty there.
Funny thing happened while we were on the way. I was grumbling about driving on the tanah merah road, and Iskandar asked me, "Don't they teach you how to drive on roads like this in driving school?"
And I was like, "Nooooooooo, that Kancil will not last on roads like this. The suspension confirm ruin"
Just as I said that, I saw a Kancil up in front.
Anis and I laughed so hard, we were barely making any sound.
But the Kancil didn't go as far as we did because where we went was definitely not suitable for a Kancil.
Oh, you know how I'm allergic to cats?
I have 5 cats in my room right now. Oh yeah.
A mother cat and her four kittens, to be exact.
We think the mother is a cat that got dumped by the owners when they found out she was pregnant.
So anyways, the mother gave birth to the kittens like 2 weeks ago, but we didn't know where. The thing is right, the mummy cat, who we call Pinky (which is like a total misnomer because she has gray fur!), comes for food everyday. And since we all love cats, we bought her some food and feed her everyday. And everytime she eats, we ask "Pinky, where are your kittens? Kenapa tak bawak?"
So last Sunday right, just before we stepped out of the house, Pinky came and in her mouth was one kitten who looks just like her. And the kitten was so fat and cute. No wonder everytime Pinky comes to the house she's starving.
When we came back from the trip, we found out that she had brought 4 kittens to the house and all of them were so gemuk, and their fur is so soft. I feel like squeezing them.
So anyways, we couldn't possibly keep the kittens and the mummy outside because sejuk at night. Some more with the crazy weather we've been getting, i'm scared that something bad might happen to the kittens. So after much thought (actually it was more like 20 minutes of contemplation), Anis and I decided to take the whole litter into our room. So we borrowed this cage from Kak Tish and put all the cats into it and took them into our room.
And so my room is now cat central. And surprisingly, after a full 24 hours with the cats, I did not suffer any snuffles or sneezes, so it's not so bad. Plus, the kittens are super-adorable. Even though they sleep like 95% of the time.
Oh, I almost hit a wild boar on Sunday. My dad and I took the Pajero and Range Rover to the carwash after coming back from Sungai Sendat. So while we were on our way back (we were already in Bukit Antarabangsa), this animal just suddenly ran in front of my car. And I braked.
Luckily I was driving slow.
I thought it was a dog at the beginning, but then after a few seconds, I realised it was a wild boar. Bloody scary. My heart was doing like 140, I think. I was soooo glad nothing happened.
Can you just imagine what would have happened had I hit the boar?
Scarynya!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, that night, I went to my dad's clinic because Anis needed to print out some stuff and the printer at home wasn't working. So anyways, I asked my dad to check my blood pressure and found out that my blood pressure was a bit lower than normal. So my dad was like, "how to donate blood like this?" since Anis and I are always so bising because we never get to donate our blood.
Geez. Thanks Pa.
How supportive.
I kinda wonder what the low blood pressure means because people say that if you're stressed, then your BP will shoot up. Does that mean I'm so relaxed that my BP is low? ;-)
Okay, I need to finish up my tutes.
Later people.
