Why?

The big news right now is that the dead body found inside a sports bag is that of a missing girl named Nurin Jazlin. When I saw the news yesterday, I couldn't help it. Tears just streamed down my face.

The girl was just eight and she was brutally assaulted and then murdered. She was abducted from the pasar malam near her house in Wangsa Maju. Wangsa Maju is like 10 minutes away from my house!

She was EIGHT, for God's sake! Which eight-year-old girl deserved to die like that?

She was so young, and a bloody sex maniac murdered her. What is this world coming to?

I am scared for my sisters.

My parents are scared for my sisters.

Even my grandparents are scared for them.

My sisters are now scared to go out and play outside. They rarely go on their bikes nowadays, and when they go to the shop, someone has to be with them at all time.

What is the point of celebrating 50 years of independence if it means that kids do not have the freedom to play around and just be kids anymore?

Boredom!

I was so sick yesterday that I didn't even go to Uni. I had to ask Ara to send in my assignments (which I managed to finish, thankfully!). So yesterday I did absolutely NOTHING. No studying, no driving, no nothing and it felt sooooo good to not do anything for once! But I got bored after a while, and I stole my brother's book....something about 1001 Cool, Freaky facts or something like that and found out that THIS particular phrase...

"The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick"

....is one of the hardest (if not hardest) tongue-twister in the English language. Try saying it. Out loud. If you're like me, you'll go, "the sixth sick sick...." and your tongue will start twisting. This is definitely worse than the "How many yaks could a yak pack pack if a yak pack could pack yaks? / How much wood could a woodchopper chop if a woodchopper could chop wood?" tongue-twisters.

See. I told you I had nothing to do yesterday.

I felt guilty though today, so I did my exercise and revised on the chapter for Business Law before I went for tutorials and I felt damn smart in class today because I knew what was going on! Mwahahahahaha.

Okay, I just typed out this post because I was bored, and because I am still in Monash waiting for Ara so that we could go buka puasa after her class. I didn't go back when I finished my class at 5 just now because I'm just too tired to go and join the jam because people are coming back early during this fasting month. Memang sangat-sangat tak larat nak tunggu dalam jam, so I decided to stay at Monash and buka puasa here first. But tak sembahyang terawih la then tonight. Darn.

I'm sick. *sniffle**sniffle*

I'm fasting, too.

And I have two assignments due tomorrow.

Dugaan bulan Ramadhan. *sighs*

Oh. My. God.

I got a scare this morning and it was so freaky.

When I tried to started the Vitara's engine this morning (when i was getting ready to go to Monash) , I heard like an explosion sound and I just KNEW it came from my car. There was smoke coming out of my car and when I opened the bonnet, it turned out that my car battery has actually EXPLODED, which caused it to CRACK.

I have never heard of anything like that ever happened and apparently the explosion was loud outside, but because I was in the car when it happened it didn't sound so loud to me.

So now my Vitara is not functioning. At all. Luckily the explosion happened at home. I was soooo thankful I wasn't on the road when that happened!!!

So I am now driving my dad's Pajero, which is just plain humongous! But hey, having a car is better than not having a car at all! And I still don't know what will happen to my baby...kesian dia :-(

Oh, and I've also taken a look at my exam timetable. And it is soooo not helping to know that I have three papers back-to-back!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I cropped the timetable because it's too big to actually put it here. Can't believe that Business Law (BTW1200) is right after my Accounts (AFW1002). No respite at all.

Blargh. Soooo have to start studying from now. Tak raya la this year! :(

Blargh

I'm.Too.Tired.To.Think.

I have my MCQ test for Marketing tomorrow that is worth 25% of the whole unit and I can't afford to flunk the bloody test.

I also have to send my car to the workshop tomorrow morning because the air-cond fan dah rosak and I was stuck in a car full of hot air for one whole hour today. I am so dehydrated, tired, fatigued, exhausted (and every other word that are synonyms to the word penat). Blargh. The time now is 8.40. I want to sleep at 9.30 and wake up at 6 or 7 to start studying for Marketing. See how procrastination ruins your life? Sad life I lead.

Nite people. I shall now go and take a bath before going under the covers.

Alia Arwina Izyani Azani, you are so pathetic. Sigh.

Checklist on what to write about in this post (cause I might forget about it later):

1. How my car got banged
2. Zara's birthday party
3. How hard it was to find parking in Monash yesterday
4. How I ALMOST lost my thumbdrive!!!!!!!!!

Whew. That's quite a lot. Now, where do I start? Oh yeah.............someone BANGED MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!! Blargh. I'm not sure when it happened, but all I knew was that on Thursday, it got banged and that my left taillight was hanging loose. I got so geram with it hanging loose and possibly endangering me or some other people that I bought a roll of masking tape and taped the taillight back into place.

Geramnyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Oh, Zara turned six yesterday (3rd September)! But because yesterday was a schooling day, we had a birthday party at the house-that-we-might-have-to-move-into-at-the-end-of-the-year. Basically, my dad has this house beside my grandparents' house and the house has not had a tenant for two months and since my dad has to pay the loan every month, if the house is still tenantless, we might have to move there. I like the house, but living next to my grandparents is not something that I want. Come to think of it, if my grandparents aren't living next door, I wouldn't mind staying there. Sounds a bit harsh, but there are some things that are better left unsaid.

So anyways, back to Zara's birthday party. The house has a swimming pool, so the smaller kids had fun swimming, but us big kids felt like we were too old for the pool, and I couldn't get into the pool anyways so we ended doing something we've never ever done before. We played Twister. And it was so much fun. And painful. I think I bruised my right foot. Seriously!

Some pictures from the birthday party:

And Twister pictures:

Our grandpa trying to kacau the game. It was hard enough trying to balance ourselves without him "helping" us

This pic is funny because everyone except Anis has at least one of their hands on the mat and so basically she's the last one standing la!

So anyways, yesterday was the official launch of the Monash campus which I think is really weird because we've been in Monash for like 8 weeks now. So anyways, I could not get a parking because they closed off the parking for the media and the VIPs. What got me really ticked is that they closed the WHOLE parking lot, which has about 500 lots in it. So you can just imagine that all the 500 cars that usually park inside the parking lot are forced to find parking elsewhere. I was sooooo pissed, and Ara said she has never seen me so angry before. In the end, I had to park in the Monash Condo and had to walk to Monash. Grrrrrrr. Everything was topsy-turvy yesterday. And the thing is, I got to Monash at 10, and the bloody launching wasn't supposed to start until 3! Luckily I had classes because some of my friends' classes got cancelled. If my classes got cancelled, only God knows how pissy I can be.

Today I almost lost my pendrive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What happened was I was using the computer in the library for like 2 hours, and then I had to go for class. I thought I took everything, but obviously I didn't. While I was in class, I got two missed calls (which I didn't notice cause I had my phone on silent and it wasn't vibrating) and suddenly I got this sms from this guy saying that he found my pendrive. I was like, "heh?" and when I checked my pencil case, sure enough, I only found the pendrive cover. I was like, "ohhhh, shiiiittttttttttt" because it was a 2GB pendrive and all my assignments were in there. Oh, the birthday party pictures were also in there, so I had to have it back. So I messaged him back and met up with him at the Library entrance. Of course I asked him la how he got my number. And you know how he got my number? He got it from my assignment coversheet! Thank God I typed out my details onto the coversheet and not handwrite the details! But you know what, if it was me, I wouldn't have thought about looking at the coversheet for the other person's number, so thank God he wasn't me! So to make a long story short, I got my pendrive back! Yay!

Oh, I gotta go study now. I have a test tomorrow. Urgh.
