Basically, this is the start of my UK trip.
We were all so excited when we were going, but we still couldn't believe that we were actually going, up until the point when we saw this view from the plane:

So once we arrived at Heathrow, one of the first things that made us realised we were actually not in Malaysia was the fact the toilet had no sprinklers, and was just equipped with toilet paper. My sisters cringed everytime they had to go to the loo. LOL.
We had to stand in line for more than an hour at the immigration counter, so we got tired, so we took some pictures. And the first thing everyone did when we got there was to check whether they could roam, and hence the picture above. Lol.
First sighting of an English taxi. Total jakun-ness. Lol.
For the first few days we were there, we stayed at my dad's friend, Uncle Navin's, place. He stays in Southend-on-Sea, which is about an hour and a half car ride from Heathrow, and it's not in London.
Uncle Navin's house is quite amazing, cause it has a view of the sea and because it had three spare bedrooms to accommodate the eight of us. Lol. We were so excited when we saw the beautiful houses all around us cause it finally sank in that we were no longer in KL. Yes, we are weird people.

The view from the house. Amazing, isn't it, to be waking up to this view everyday?
So since we were tired and to curb off our jet-lag, we decided to just take it easy and stroll along the pier, just enjoying the English weather. Which, for summer, is surprisingly COLD. Especially with the strong winds. Oh, the best part about summer is that it gets bright at about 5 in the morning, and sunset is only around 9.30 pm. So yes, that's a longgggggggggg day everyday. Hahaha.
So we were supposed to be going for an easy stroll, but we ended up going to the Adventure Island theme park. Yeah. A theme park. On our very first day in England.
Some of the pictures from the theme park. I got pure, unadulterated joy from going on the swing ride (hence why you see me laughing like a mad person in the picture above). I didn't go on the roller-coaster because after a few rides I felt like puking. And I never feel like that whenever we go to theme parks in Malaysia. Jetlag does funny things to your body. I wish I did go on the roller-coaster though. It looks super scary!!!!!
We left the theme park around 8.30 at night, walked back to the house and had an early night. I didn't even have dinner because I was too fatigued from the trip and from our excursion to Adevnture Island.
So yeah, that was my first day in England.
