C'est la vie.

Yesterday was my last class in Monash. Ever.

Even my lecturer was saying yesterday "Today is our last class and I would not see you anymore after this. And I think it's the best for all of us". Definitely a LOL moment.

Funny to think how for my last ever class in Monash I was falling asleep in front of the computer in the lab while I was doing the tutorial. (I was surprised that I could still do the tutorial even though I was half-asleep. Hahaha.)

Funny thing happened last weekend while I was visiting my friend at Ampang Puteri with the boyfriend and his best buddies.

Basically what happened was that when we were leaving, my friend's parents came in with some guests.

And then it turned out that the guests were my grandparents' best friends, so being a good granddaughter that I am, I went to the Auntie and introduced myself.

And then I went to greet her husband and then he asked me,

"Awak anak Aza? Kenapa awak pendek?"

Saya tak pendekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

See, among normal girls, I'm actually considered to be average. In fact, at 158 cm, I'm slightly taller than most of my friends.

But when you are born into a family where your father, siblings, grandfather, uncles and cousins are on average taller than 170 cm and you have your mother's genes, being 158 cm is definitely like getting the short end of the stick (all puns intended).

Now that I think of it, my girl cousin who just turned 13 2 weeks ago is already taller than me.

And all of my siblings, except for Zara, are either at my height or are taller than me.

Even Zara, who's not even 9 yet, now stands at my shoulders.

FML.

Oh yeah, although I'm not an "Idol" fan anymore (I think I stopped watching after Season 5), I read this article on why Crystal Bowersox won't win American Idol and I read these lines:

Says one anonymous "Idol" insider: "I've realized lately that the 'Idol' voting fanbase is now totally dominated by 40-plus soccer moms and their tween offspring. It explains the past few years' winners and the weekly voting patterns."

And then I realised that in my house, the big "Idol" fans are my mum, Wani and Dina, all of whom fall into the said age groups. So I'm guessing whether you're in America or Malaysia, it makes no difference then. Lol.

Oh, just now I went on Nat's fb page and saw that she has Liked this page called "Born To Make You Happy".

I was such a HUGE fan of the song before it came out, and then i realised that even with the huge amount of songs that I have stored in my laptop/EHD, I don't have this song (please don't kill me Nat), so I downloaded the song and I felt like I was in Standard 6 again. Lol.

And then I found another version of the song that Britney recorded when she was younger and downloaded that one too. Sounds almost the same, just less auto-tuned.

Pop songs back then are the best. I pity the kids nowadays for the songs that they are exposed to.

Oh yeah, I was listening to the radio the other day and this song came out:

And now when I listen to these lines from the song:

Be a little bit wiser baby,
Put it on, put it on
'cause tonight is the night
When 2 become 1

I'm like Oh.My.God. I was NINE when I heard this song and I was actually listening to a song about having SAFE SEX. Wtf.

And now that I think about it, I can't believe my parents allowed me to watch Grease when I was 8 years old, what with the smoking and teenage pregnancy scares and dropping out of school. Nasib baik at 8 years old the only thing I cared about when watching the movie were the songs:

And just now when I watched this above scene on YouTube I can't believe my parents actually allowed me to watch a movie where a dude says "Oh come on, you don't wanna hear all the horny details".

OMG.

Oh well. C'est la vie. Lol.
